In 1977 a children‘s book was published by the „Junge Welt“ publishing company, which was not completely blameless for some of this generation choosing their dream job. 33 years later, Bobo is back – as a model from BRAWA, together with a reprint of the classic children‘s book which is much sought after today. The real „Bobo“ 110 240 was put into service in Görlitz in 1970, never left Lusatia throughout its working life and was decommissioned at the Görlitz depot as 202 240 in the year 2000. Today it is still kept in stock at the Alstom factory in Stendal.
„Bobo Kowalski will nicht mehr“ tells the story of the engine driver Kowalski‘s daily life, his diesel locomotive Bobo and her jealousy of the „Dieselameise“ Multicar M21 „Molli“.
