Depressed Centre Flat Car DB

“Depressed centre flat cars” built between 1879 and 1901 by various manufacturers proved to be extremely durable. Some of these “Methusalems of the rails” even came to the DB, where they were kept in service until new depressed centre flat cars with a higher loading capacity were purchased.
