Info about the original
Nürnberger Lederer-Bräu is a historic brewery from Nuremberg whose roots date back to the 18th century. It became particularly well-known for its Patrizier Beer, which enjoyed a fine reputation in the Franconia region for its quality and robust flavor. Following the opening of the Bavarian Ludwig Railway in 1835, two barrels of Lederer Beer bearing the legendary Adler were transported from Nuremberg to Fürth as early as July 11, 1836. Thus, beer became one of the first goods transported by the German railway.
